Remarkably creamy with a fresh, tangy flavor, our Local Whole Milk Buttermilk is a healthy drink on its own and great for baking and cooking. To make it, we start with the best local whole milk and add four live and active cultures: lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis, lactococcus lactis subsp. cremoris, lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis biovar. diacetylactis and leuconostoc mesenteroides subsp. cremoris. Our buttermilk is unsalted, pasteurized, and homogenized.
